Mass Effect 3 - The New Addiction!

The thrilling new third person shooter is to be released on March 6, 2012 according to Best Buy. The game is developed by Bioware, a company that has never failed us with great entertainment such as "Baldur's Gate" and "Star Wars : The Old Republic". The new game will feature a four player cooperative mode through the internet. Though the game is still not out, there is a demo released and can be downloaded through your favorite gaming platform such as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game features six different classes ranging from Adept to Vanguard. The weapons and special abilities differ between classes and each class has a small variety of races to choose from. In the demo these races are locked but you do have the privilege of playing with each class. My personal favorite is the Sniper, though it takes a long time to reload, the power is well worth it.

How are the maps?

The maps are set through out different planets and Seattle being one of Earth. The vibrant colors and attention to detail makes this game true eye candy. The texture quality is comparable to that of "Unreal Tournament" and the lighting surrounding it makes the graphics hard not to like.

Needless to say, you will realize that this game requires strategy and will require you to stick close to your teammates if you wish to survive and beat the odds. The demo features a swarm attack of ten waves of forces. From securing the destination to vanquishing all enemies, the game does not get old. The ability to upgrade and buy weapons is a big plus, it leaves you striving for something and will be hooked on collecting credits. You won't notice how fast those credits add up though, you will be too hooked on playing it for fun rather than working for the credits.

Anything bad?

What are the bad aspects of the game you may ask. You cannot jump, and sometimes get stuck on objects while crouching against them, it can be very frustrating when you lose a game over a little glitch.

Are you all excited for this release? How many of you have already played it and pre-ordered it?
